A leading healthcare organization in Connecticut is actively seeking a licensed Family and/or Internal Medicine Physician to join their growing Inpatient Nocturnist team in Hartford County.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 7-on / 7-off (12 hour nights)
- Specialty: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Setting: Open ICU (no procedures)
- Patient Volume: 5-9 per night
Responsibilities:
- Admit patients to the hospital, either directly from the emergency department or from other healthcare settings
- Conduct initial assessments, gather medical histories, and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Monitor their condition, order & interpret diagnostic tests, adjust medications, and coordinate treatment plans
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut
- Board Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine
- Active DEA
