A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Network Engineer for a hybrid role at one of the campuses based in either Vienna, VA, Pensacola, FL, or Winchester, VA. This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced Cisco ACI and SD-WAN technologies while supporting enterprise-level network design, deployment, and performance.

 About the Opportunity:
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: Standard business
  • Setting: Onsite 2 days per week in Vienna, VA / Pensacola, FL / Winchester, VA
Responsibilities:
  • Designing, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Cisco ACI and Cisco SD-WAN solutions across data centers and branch locations
  • Supporting network refresh and migration projects, including staging, shipping, and on-site coordination
  • Monitoring network performance and proactively resolving issues to ensure reliability and uptime
  • Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver on technical and business goals
  • Documenting network configurations, procedures, and operational changes
  • Participating in change management and ticketing processes
  • Assisting with automation initiatives using tools such as Ansible and Python
  • Providing technical support and mentorship to Junior Engineers
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a Cisco-focused environment (6–8 years without a degree)
  • Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree
  • CCNA certification
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and SD-WAN technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco ACI architecture, policies, and integrations
  • Familiarity with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), VLANs, and segmentation
  • Proficiency in Network Troubleshooting and Performance Monitoring.
  • Experience working within Enterprise Ticketing and Change Request systems
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • CCNP certification
  • Experience with cloud networking or hybrid environments
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Exposure to infrastructure automation using Ansible and Python
