An exciting opportunity is available for an Advanced Practice Provider specializing in Neonatology at a prominent health system in Belleville, NJ.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: On-site
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, available day or night
- Schedule: 7 days a week
- Hours: 7am-7pm and 7pm to 7am
- Setting: OB/NICU Department
Responsibilities:
The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for:
- Covering the well-baby nursery
- Attending all deliveries
- Managing an average daily census of 5 nursery patients and approximately 5 deliveries per day
- Handling a patient load of 10–12 patients per shift
- Working solo with physician backup available on call
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neonatology
- Experience in Neonatology preferred
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
- Ability to work independently in a Level II NICU environment
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Team-oriented approach
- Attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Proficiency in neonatal care procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills
