An emergency medicine pediatric facility in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking a Neonatologist to provide coverage in a Level 3 NICU and nursery setting. This role involves delivering specialized newborn care, collaborating with OB/GYNs, and supporting a family-centered environment.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 24-hour shifts, approximately 4-6 shifts per month
- Hours: 24-hour shifts, occasionally split into 12-hour shifts
- Setting: Inpatient Level 3 NICU, nursery, and special care
Responsibilities:
- Provide neonatal care for infants in the nursery and special care setting
- Manage newborn admissions, evaluations, and ongoing clinical coverage
- Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and care teams as needed
- Respond to neonatal care needs within a 24/7 hospital-based environment
- Document patient care and clinical activity in the electronic medical record
Qualifications:
- Board Certified
- Fellowship-trained in Neonatology
- 1-2 years of experience
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a Level 3 NICU
- Familiarity with EPIC and the Stork module
- Experience providing care in nursery and special care settings
