A New York City-based nonprofit organization is looking to add a new Mental Health Clinician to its growing Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Field-based
Responsibilities:
- Conducting initial mental health assessments
- Developing next steps, such as housing placement and service linkage
- Engaging clients in their homes and community settings
- Providing support and advocacy
- Working with clients in various locations, including encampments and hospitals
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- Experience in a Mental Health and/or Social Services role/setting
- Proficiency in Health Information Technology
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Team collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications:
- NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and/or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Experience in Clinical Case Management
- Knowledge of NYC homeless resources
