A healthcare services organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Internal Medicine & HIV Specialist to join their team as a Medical Director, playing a critical role in providing integrated care to underserved populations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Setting: FQHC
Responsibilities:
- Providing medical care to adults and HIV patients
- Performing clinical tasks and procedures
- Handling administrative responsibilities two days a week
- Supervising other healthcare providers
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine
- Comply with American Academy of HIV Medicine certification requirements
- Strong knowledge of HIV care
- Experience in a Community Health setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Compassionate and patient-focused
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Master's degree in a related field
- Certification in HIV care
- Proficient in EMR systems
