A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join their growing team in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 3+ months
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week; flexibility required)
- Setting: Clinic
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and engaging with patients
- Monitoring patient flow and communicating wait times
- Assisting with patient registration and check-out
- Scheduling appointments and verifying insurance
- Supporting clinical care and administrative tasks
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- High School Diploma / GED
- Completion of a Medical Assistant (MA) program
- Medical Assistant (MA) certification
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
Desired Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Working knowledge of EPIC EMR system
