A healthcare network in New York City is looking to add a certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join their team at one of their clinics on Staten Island.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Setting: Clinic
Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with patients
- Monitor patient flow and resolve front desk issues
- Schedule appointments and manage patient concerns
- Support clinical staff with procedures
- Assist in care team initiatives and patient outreach
Qualifications:
- 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant certification
- Clinical support expertise
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Team collaboration
- Adaptability and professionalism
Desired Skills:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- EPIC experience
- Patient relationship management
