A New York City-based health services organization is actively seeking a certified
Medical Assistant (MA) to join its growing team in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week; 1-hour unpaid lunch)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating patient flow and ensuring an efficient patient experience
- Preparing patients for exams and assisting providers
- Monitoring and documenting vital signs and medical history
- Performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and other diagnostic tests
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of relevant work experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Medical Assistant certification
- CPR certification
- EKG and Phlebotomy skills
- Excellent customer service
- Computer literacy
- Strong communication skills
Desired Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in a Healthcare setting
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Additional certifications (e.g. EKG, phlebotomy)
- Experience with OBGYN procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills
