A pharmaceutical organization is seeking a Manager, LATAM Grants & Global Medical Affairs Operations to support compliant grants management and selected global medical affairs initiatives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

 About the Opportunity:
  • Shift: Day shift
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: Standard business
  • Setting: Hybrid
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of LATAM grant funding, including intake, review, approval coordination, payment processing, tracking, and close-out
  • Review grant applications for completeness, scientific and patient community alignment, and compliance with organizational policies
  • Provide timely support to external applicants and internal stakeholders on application requirements, processes, and technical guidance
  • Coordinate grant review committees, advisory boards, and related Global Medical Affairs activities, including materials preparation and documentation of decisions
  • Manage contract execution, grant payments, reporting, and audit-ready documentation in partnership with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, and other cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Grants Management or a related Operational role
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Bilingual (English and Portuguese or Spanish)
  • Experience collaborating across a matrixed organization
  • Experience using grants management systems, Microsoft Office applications, Smartsheet, and payment software such as Oracle
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Desired Skills:
  • Experience supporting Global Medical Affairs operations, advisory boards, or cross-functional medical initiatives
  • Familiarity with LATAM medical education or patient community grant landscapes
  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience supporting process improvement or operational excellence initiatives
