We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a Long-Term Care setting in Briarwood, NY. This role offers flexible scheduling within a stable facility.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day, Evening, Night
- Schedule: Full-time or Part-time, every other weekend required
- Hours: Day Shift (7am-3pm), Evening Shift (3pm-11pm), Night Shift (11pm-7am)
Responsibilities:
The LPN – Long Term Care will be responsible for:
- Administering medications and performing wound care
- Monitoring vital signs and responding to changes
- Assisting residents with daily activities and mobility
- Maintaining patient records and care plans
- Overseeing CNAs and supporting psychosocial needs
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interface with staff and clients
- Reliability and thorough pre-screening required
- Sensitivity to high-acuity care environments
- Comfort with high patient ratios
- Team collaboration skills
