A California-based health services network is actively seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their growing team in the Greater Los Angeles area.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (4 days a week)
- Hours: 6am to 2:30pm or 2pm to 10:30pm
- Setting: Group Home
- Patient Volume: 3 to 6
Responsibilities:
- Providing basic nursing care
- Preparing clients for physical exam rounds
- Assisting with wound care
- Recording vital signs
- Collecting specimens ordered
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Vocational Nursing program
- CA Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- G-Tube experience
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Patient oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Qualifications:
- 6+ months of experience working with Adults that have Mental / Physical disabilities
