A New York-based healthcare organization is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a great Per Diem position at one of their outpatient clinics in Madison County.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Specific date blocks from April to November, with consistency preferred in October and November
- Hours: Variable by location
- Setting: Outpatient clinics
Responsibilities:
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Preparing patients for exams
- Administering injections and immunizations
- Performing venipuncture and lab draws
- Conducting EKGs and CLIA-waived testing
- Handling specimen collection (urine, throat, etc.)
- Assisting with prescription verification
- Supporting providers during patient visits
- Preparing exam rooms, cleaning equipment, and restocking supplies
- Participating in daily huddles (schedule + follow-ups)
- Ensuring infection control and OSHA compliance
- Assisting with patient flow and coordination of care
Qualifications:
- Prior LPN experience (clinic or relevant setting preferred)
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Active NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with injections
- Experience with lab draws
- Patient-facing clinical work
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Working knowledge of EMR
- Experience with MEDENT or Oracle systems
