A recognized services organization in New York City is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their skilled nursing facilities in Queens.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Full-time and part-time
- Hours: 7:30am to 4pm or 3:30pm to 12am or 11:30pm to 8am
- Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility
Responsibilities:
- Providing care to 20-40 residents
- Supervising CNAs and providing direct patient care
- Monitoring residents' well-being and reporting changes to RNs
- Administering medications and performing vital checks
- Participation in care planning and emergency response
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- BLS certification
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Additional certifications in Geriatric Care
- Bilingual
