A Long Island-based rehabilitation network is seeking a new Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join one of its outpatient settings in Suffolk County.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 2 weeks
- Schedule: Monday to Friday :
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Outpatient
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with patient dressing and daily care needs
- Assisting with Hoya Lift
- Assisting with feeding
- Repositioning the patient every 2 hours
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Demonstrated experience with Colostomy Care
- Experience using a Hoyer lift for patient transfers
- Ability to safely manage and reposition patients
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- BLS certification
- Experience in an Outpatient setting
