A health services organization in New York City is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team at community health centers throughout Brooklyn, delivering quality nursing care to diverse patient populations.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (weekly rotations)
- Hours: 9am to 5pm (11am to 7pm twice every other week)
- Setting: Community Health Center
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating necessary client services with team members
- Performing specialized care and developing competency
- Maintaining accurate documentation of nursing activities
- Completing concise and clear clinical notes
- Communicating necessary information to the Nurse Care Coordinator
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing
- NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Proficiency with vaccinations
- Experience in fast-paced environments
- Competency in clinical care
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in Behavioral Health
- Certification in Intramuscular Injections
- Behavioral Health and/or Psychiatric background
