A health services network in New York City is actively seeking a new Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a program supporting Young Mothers dealing with addiction.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
- Hours: 2pm to 10pm (35 hours per week)
- Setting: Young Mothers Program
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with patient care, including checking vital signs and administering injections
- Taking the patient's medical history and entering data in the system
- Following the physician's and nurse's instructions for patient care
- Managing patient records and documentation
- Providing emotional support as needed
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as an LPN
- High School Diploma / GED
- Graduate of a Technical or Vocational LPN Program
- NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- BLS certification
- Experience with Substance Use Disorder or Serious Mental Illness
- Knowledge of Medical terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and a flexible schedule
Desired Skills:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Familiarity with Addiction and Mental Health environments
