A health services network in New York City is actively seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide addiction and PTSD treatment for veterans and male patients in Manhattan.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm (Weds = 11am to 7pm)
Responsibilities:
- Checking vital signs and assisting with patient intakes
- Administering injections and performing tests
- Documenting care details and maintaining records
- Providing emotional support and following the physician's orders
- Observing patient conditions and adapting care as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Graduate of a Technical or Vocational LPN Program
- NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
- BLS certification
- Experience with Substance Use Disorder and Serious Mental Illness
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR
Desired Skills:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
