A healthcare organization on Long Island is actively seeking a licensed professional to join their growing Article 31 outpatient mental health clinic as a Clinician. In this role, the qualified Clinician will be responsible for working with children and adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders and providing essential therapy services
Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive assessments, including walk-ins and hospital referrals
- Provide individual and group therapy
- Maintain timely documentation in EHR
- Manage caseload in accordance with OMH Part 599 regulations
- Coordinate care with other providers and attend supervision, team meetings, and required trainings
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Active LMSW, LP-LMSW, LMHC, LP-LMHC, LMHC-D, or LCSW
- Experience working with adults diagnosed with mental health disorders and/or children with emotional disturbances
- Knowledge of OMH Part 599 regulations
- Proficiency with EHR systems
