A healthcare company in New York City is seeking a new Level 1 Help Desk Technician for a 6-month contract providing end-user support and office IT solutions.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: Hybrid (onsite at least 3 days a week)
Responsibilities:
- Handling and resolving Level 1 support tickets
- Providing technical support to employees
- Preparing and managing hardware for new hires
- Supporting office and conference room technology
- Troubleshooting office IT issues as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a similar role
- Associate's Degree
- Experience with Help Desk systems
- Basic knowledge of Networking
- Skills in Mac and PC troubleshooting skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- A+ certification
- Experience in a mixed Mac/PC environment
- Experience with both Hardware and Software support
