A nonprofit services organization in New York City is seeking a new Leave Administrator/Assistant to manage processes, ensure compliance with laws, and maintain records.

About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Handling intake calls to determine FMLA eligibility and the type of leave needed
- Understanding the basics of FMLA, NYS Sick Time, short-term & long-term disability
- Using Zendesk and Kronos for ticketing and case creation
- Sending out medical leave packets and creating leave cases in Kronos
- Reviewing forms for accuracy and following up via email or ticketing
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1 year of related Human Resources experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Computer savvy
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Solid problem-solving and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor’s Degree
- Familiarity with Leave laws, including FMLA and ADA
- Proficient with Zendesk and Kronos
