A large NYC-based organization is seeking a Leave Administration Specialist to support their HR team on a 6-month assignment. Great role for someone experienced in FMLA, ADA, and employee accommodations who thrives in a fast-paced HR environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days onsite a week)
Responsibilities:
- Manage employee leave cases (FMLA, ADA, disability, parental leave, etc.)
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers throughout the leave process
- Coordinate with HR, payroll, benefits, and third-party vendors
- Maintain documentation, trackers, and reporting
- Support ADA accommodations and return-to-work processes
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Leave Administration and/or Accommodations experience
- Strong working knowledge of FMLA/ADA
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience with HRIS/Leave Management systems
