Learning & Development Training Instructor
A top Fortune 50 financial institution with locations in Pensacola, FL, and Winchester, VA is seeking an L&D Training Instructor to support enterprise-wide learning initiatives. This role focuses on delivering training, partnering on content development, and enhancing programs that strengthen operational performance across the organization.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid: Onsite a minimum of 3 days per week
- Shift: 8:00am–4:30pm CST / 9:00am–5:30pm EST
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Setting: Corporate training environment
Responsibilities:
The L&D Training Instructor (Learning & Development) will be responsible for:
- Facilitating training sessions across assigned departments and business areas
- Collaborating with Instructional Designers to test, refine, and validate learning materials, lesson plans, and facilitator guides
- Measuring training effectiveness and recommending enhancements to improve learner outcomes
- Analyzing operational processes to identify training gaps and organizational development needs
- Presenting findings, insights, and recommendations to management
- Providing training and support to branch teams to meet business objectives
- Performing routine research or review tasks as assigned
- Completing required NMLS registration if selected for Mortgage-MLO–related training duties
Qualifications:
- 1–5 years of experience in training, facilitation, or related Learning & Development roles
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to complete NMLS registration if supporting Mortgage-MLO programs
- Experience delivering instructor-led training (virtual and/or in-person)
- Familiarity with training materials, instructional design concepts, or learning technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities effectively
Desired Skills:
- Corporate training experience within financial services
- Exposure to instructional design, curriculum review, or adult learning methodologies
- Strong organizational and stakeholder-management capabilities
