A professional services firm in New Jersey is currently seeking a Junior Project Manager for their IT PMO Change Management team. This role involves maintaining process integrity and driving compliance within the IT organization.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office
Responsibilities:
- Administering PMO and CM tools, including scheduling and facilitating meetings
- Maintaining and updating the repository of project artifact templates
- Coordinating and managing reporting across multiple projects and programs
- Preparing presentations and materials for leadership and stakeholder meetings
- Developing, updating, and delivering training materials on PMO and CM tools and processes
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing IT projects
- Relevant degree in Business, IT, or related field
- PMP certification is a plus
- Hands-on experience with the Administration of Project Portfolio Management tools (e.g., MS Project, PPM Pro, ServiceNow)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Demonstrated ability to train and coach others on tools and processes
Desired Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in IT project management
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- PMP certification is desirable
- Administrator experience for PMO and Change Management tools
- Strong team player mentality
