A media services organization on Long Island, NY, is actively seeking a new Junior Origination Technician to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor all channels distributed to ensure:
- On-air continuity
- Program segments start & end on time;
- Commercials, promos, and graphics air as scheduled
- Tones to trigger local commercial insertion are going out as expected
- Messages for Dynamic Ad Insertion are going out as expected
- Assist with log checking to ensure continuity between logs and playlists
- Follow and adhere to the master control standard operating procedures
- Effectively communicate with peers and the management team when escalating on-air issues
- Report and write up any on-air discrepancy that occurs during the shift
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of relevant work experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Computer savvy
- Solid problem-solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Strong Technical aptitude
- Basic understanding of Audio and Video levels
