A recognized services company is seeking a hands-on IT Security Leader, with deep cloud security expertise, to define, lead, and oversee our cloud security strategy.

Responsibilities:
- Define a high-level cloud security strategy and roadmap, and provide oversight and guidance on its execution
- Serve as the point of escalation for cloud security issues, changes, and incidents
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Application Leadership to evaluate tradeoffs (benefits, risks, cost, timeline) and recommend security solutions
- Review, approve, and evolve security policies, processes, procedures, and technical configuration changes
- Ensure alignment of cloud security efforts with business goals and regulations
- Mentor, advise, and influence across teams to embed security best practices into architecture, design, and operations
- Monitor, audit, and assess cloud security controls continually, and propose enhancements
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of proven experience in Cloud Security
- Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security and/or related field
- Deep understanding of Cloud Security capabilities and tools, such as CSPM, CWP, PIM, CASB, etc.
- Prior role functioning as a point of escalation for cloud security changes, issues, or incidents
- Experience reviewing and approving new or revised security policies, processes, procedures, and technical configurations
- Strong ability to translate security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration (infrastructure, dev, operations, product)
