A health services network in Missouri is actively seeking a licensed Interventional Cardiologist to join their growing team in South St. Louis County, providing specialized cardiac care, both on weekdays and weekends.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 3+ months
- Setting: Outpatient
- Call: 1 weekday on-call per week (every 4th or 5th weekend)
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases using minimally invasive techniques
- Performing angioplasty, stenting, and structural heart repairs
- Conducting diagnostic cardiac catheterization and coronary interventions
- Managing patients with acute coronary syndromes and structural heart issues
- Providing on-call coverage for emergency interventions
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Missouri Physician or IMLC license
- Board-Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine
- ACLS certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Experience with Cardiac Cath procedures
Desired Qualifications:
- Fellowship in Cardiology
- Additional cardiac certifications
- Experience with complex Cardiac procedures
