A leading financial institution in Pensacola, Florida, is seeking an Instructional Designer to support enterprise-wide learning and development initiatives. The role involves designing, developing, and managing instructional content to drive performance improvement.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Planning and managing instructional design projects and initiatives across business units
- Designing and developing classroom, virtual, online, and self-directed learning programs
- Conducting needs assessments and analyzing learning requirements to establish objectives
- Creating curricula by researching and processing large volumes of information efficiently
- Developing and testing course content, multimedia materials, training games, and technology-driven learning products
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Communication, or related field
- Experience in Instructional Design, Course Development, and Curriculum Design
- Advanced knowledge of Instructional Theories, Educational Psychology, and Learning methodologies
- Experience evaluating learning effectiveness and delivery methods
- Strong LMS experience, including course creation, assignments, and reporting
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Desired Skills:
- Experience developing Multimedia and Technology-driven Training solutions
- Experience working in a Regulated or Financial Services environment
- Experience supporting Large-scale or Enterprise Learning initiatives
