A nonprofit services organization in New York City is looking to add a new Human Resources Recruiter to join their growing team in the Bronx.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Source and attract candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
- Review resumes and applications, screening for qualifications and fit
- Conduct candidate interviews via phone, video, and in-person
- Provide the Hiring Managers with shortlists of qualified candidates
- Draft and send job offers, and address candidate questions on compensation and benefits
- Partner with the Program Leaders to understand staffing needs and plan future recruitment
- Represent the organization at job fairs and host in-house hiring events
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Recruiting experience in a Human Services, Nonprofit, and/or Social Services environment
- High School Diploma / GED
- Computer savvy
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Exceptional phone etiquette
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and/or a related field
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing methods
