A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated HR Shared Services Advisor to join their team in the McLean, Virginia area.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees after disability claim approval
- Respond to incoming calls and place outbound calls providing accurate guidance and support
- Deliver clear, empathetic communication to address employee questions and concerns
- Manage and resolve employee-submitted cases, including those requiring complex or detailed information
- Ensure timely follow-up, proper documentation, and accurate resolution
- Escalate issues as needed to internal partners or vendors
- Create reports and dashboards to support shared services operations
- Perform data validations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness
- Review and update employment status and related employee information in Oracle HCM
- Ensure data integrity and proper record maintenance
- Partner with vendors, contractors, and internal advisors involved in disability payment processing
- Coordinate across teams to ensure smooth handoffs and timely case resolution
- Maintain strong working relationships and clear communication channels
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Human Resources, Shared Services, and/or related experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and/or a related field
- Knowledge of Shared Services operating models and efficiency best practices
- Solid understanding of Compliance and Regulatory standards related to Employee Data, Disability Claims, or HR Operations
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify gaps and improve processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication with an advisory mindset
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
