A reputable organization located in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a dedicated HR File Clerk (Temporary) to join their team. This role is essential for assisting their Human Resources department with a short-term digitization project.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: On-Site
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)
- Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
- Setting: HR Department, filing closet/desk space
Responsibilities:
The HR File Clerk (Temporary) will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and organizing employee personnel files for digitization
- Scanning paper documents using office equipment
- Indexing digital files according to HR standards
- Uploading scanned documents into Paycom with accuracy
- Tracking completed files and maintaining project logs
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of filing/organizing experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with scanning equipment and digital filing systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
- 1+ years of filing/organizing experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with Paycom is a plus
- Familiarity with digital filing systems
- Strong organizational skills
