A recognized services company in New York City is looking to add a new HR Data Specialist to play a key role in managing HRIS data, supporting union-related processes, and ensuring smooth employee communication.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 3 to 4 months
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Setting: Remote
Responsibilities
- Perform extensive HR data entry in Dayforce HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage union-related data, including payroll deductions, union dues, initiation details, and deduction confirmations
- Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and generate HR reports
- Respond to employee and union inquiries regarding benefits via phone and email, maintaining professionalism and resolving discrepancies
- Diffuse upset employees by gathering information, providing accurate answers, and correcting issues promptly
- Collaborate with the HR Manager through weekly check-ins and occasional team huddles
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR data entry
- Familiarity with Union environments
- Knowledge of Benefits Administration
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Dayforce HRIS
