A Connecticut-based healthcare institution is looking to add a licensed Neurologist to its growing team in Hartford County, focusing on patient follow-ups and specific procedures.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week)
- Setting: Outpatient
Responsibilities:
- Providing outpatient care to patients with headache concerns
- Performing Botox Injections and Occipital Block Injections
- Managing new patient consultations and follow-up appointments
- Collaborating with support staff, including medical assistants and nurses
- Participating in patient case discussions and care planning
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Headache Fellowship
- Medical Degree (MD) with valid licensure
- Expertise in performing Botox and Occipital Block Injections
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Compassionate patient care
Desired Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience with Headache Management
- Fellowship in Headache Specialization
- Certification in Neurocritical Care
