A leading financial institution is seeking a visionary and strategic Head of AI & Insights to lead the development and execution of its enterprise AI strategy. This role will drive innovation, operational efficiency, and business value through advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies.

Responsibilities
- Define and lead the enterprise-wide AI strategy aligned with business goals
- Partner with executive leadership to identify high-impact AI opportunities
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML models
- Drive adoption of generative AI, NLP, computer vision, and predictive analytics
- Ensure performance, governance, and compliance of AI solutions
- Build and lead a high-performing team of Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and AI Researchers
- Mentor and develop talent through structured programs
- Establish frameworks for responsible AI, including fairness and transparency
- Collaborate with legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, including 5+ years of experience in a Leadership role
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field
- Proven success delivering AI solutions at scale in complex environments
- Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and MLOps
- Strong knowledge of Data Architecture and Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience in a Regulatory role/setting
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
