Responsibilities:
The Staff Geriatrician will be responsible for:
- Providing office-based management for the geriatric population
- Implementing care protocols and standards across the network
- Teaching geriatric care principles to Medicine Residents
- Creating care transition models supporting various care settings
- Pursuing accreditations for geriatric program excellence
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience, or new fellowship graduates with 1-2 years considered
- MD or DO degree with a specialization in Geriatrics
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- Proficiency in geriatric care protocols
- Understanding of multidisciplinary care models
- Knowledge of accreditation processes
- Strong communication skills

- Leadership capabilities
Desired Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in geriatric care
- Advanced Geriatrics Fellowship preferred
- Additional certifications a plus
- Experience with grant solicitation
