A health services network in New Jersey is actively seeking a licensed Gastroenterologist to join their growing team in Bergen County.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 7-on, 7-off
- Hours: 12-hour shifts
- Call Schedule: 1:3
- Setting: 100% inpatient
Responsibilities:
- Examining & obtaining medical history and treating acute & chronic illnesses
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Creating treatment plans and involving patients & family members in those plans
- Initiating appropriate specialty referrals
- Collaborating on the improvement in care delivery and service with management, other Physicians, and staff
- Working with Practice Management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements
- Performing procedures at the Endoscopy Center
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey
- Board Eligible / Certified
- Experience in an Inpatient and/or Outpatient role/setting
- Previous experience with the Adult population
