About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: Hospital and outpatient office
Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality patient care in the field of gastroenterology
- Maintaining outpatient clinic services at the Merrick office
- Rotating inpatient duties at Mercy Hospital
- Participating in a call rotation with other specialists
- Ensuring compliance with medical protocols and vaccination requirements
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree required
- Current New York medical license
- Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Proficiency in Gastroenterological procedures
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Compassionate and patient-focused
- Ability to work in a team environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in a Hospital and/or Outpatient settings
- Advanced Gastroenterological training
- Certification in specialized procedures
