A recognized health services network in Central New York is actively seeking a licensed Gastroenterologist to provide both outpatient and inpatient care with a supportive team.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to the following Friday (approximately 12 days every 5 weeks)
- Hours: 7:30 AM to 4 PM
- Setting: Hospital
Responsibilities:
- Mix of outpatient endoscopy and inpatient consult service
- Inpatient cases from 7:30 AM to 9 AM
- Performing an average of 6 colonoscopies per day
- Managing general GI conditions
- Capsule endoscopy interpretation
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible / Certified
- Gastroenterology Fellowship
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Proficiency in Endoscopy and Colonoscopy
- Knowledge of EPIC EMR system
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with NPs
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced Medical Degree
- Extensive experience in Gastroenterology
