A top Fortune 50 financial institution in Texas is seeking a Financial Operations Representative to join their team at their San Antonio location. In this role, the Financial Operations Representative will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day bank operations, focusing on high-risk transaction processing and compliance in a fast-paced financial environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Processing incoming and outgoing wire transfers through the Federal Reserve Bank
- Resolving wire research requests and wire returns
- Processing Automated Clearing House (ACH) returns and rejects
- Identifying, analyzing, escalating, and debating risk factors and suspicious activity across all transactions
- Supporting continuous process improvement while meeting strict deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a Banking and/or Financial Services role/setting
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong attention to detail and adaptability to change
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Solid problem-solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet critical deadlines
Desired Skills:
- ACH and Wire Processing experience
- Experience with Banking and/or Back-Office Operations
- Experience with Financial Risk Assessment
