A leading Fortune 50 financial institution is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program. This role is critical for identifying and managing potential financial crime risks and ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed BSA/AML case investigations, including transaction monitoring alerts and high-risk customer activity
- Analyzing complex financial data to identify suspicious patterns and potential money laundering or financial crime activity
- Preparing and filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies
- Documenting investigative findings clearly and thoroughly to support audit and regulatory reviews
- Utilizing AML monitoring and case management systems, including Verafin, to manage and resolve alerts efficiently
- Minimum of 2+ years of BSA/AML experience within a financial services environment
- SAR writing and filing experience required
- Proven experience conducting case investigations and transaction analysis
- Hands-on experience with Verafin strongly preferred
- CAMS certification preferred or considered a strong plus
- Prior experience working at a financial institution preferred
