A health services company in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join their team in Brooklyn to deliver primary care to patients of all ages in an underserved community.

About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 7pm (8am to 5pm on Fridays)
- Patient Population: Underserved community
- Patient Volume: 15 per day
- Setting: Outpatient community health clinic
Responsibilities:
- Performing comprehensive physical exams and health assessments
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
- Prescribing medications and managing treatment plans
- Providing wellness visits, screenings, and immunizations
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of Clinical experience
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
- Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN)
- Active NYS and Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Athena Health
- Medicare/Medicaid credentialing
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience in Community Health, Primary Care, and/or Urgent Care settings
