An enterprise financial institution is seeking an Enterprise Portfolio & Value Manager in Vienna, Virginia, to lead Lean Portfolio Management and strategic portfolio governance. This role partners with executive stakeholders to drive prioritization, funding, roadmaps, and value realization across enterprise initiatives.
About the Opportunity:
  • Shift: Day 
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 4:30pm (EST)
  • Setting: Hybrid corporate environment (3 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
  • Lead Lean Portfolio Management practices across strategic enterprise portfolios to align investments with business objectives and value delivery
  • Oversee portfolio intake, prioritization, funding, and decision-making processes to maximize organizational outcomes
  • Manage portfolio roadmaps, Kanban workflows, budgeting activities, risks, dependencies, and execution oversight
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to provide portfolio reporting, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations
  • Drive Agile and Lean Portfolio Management maturity through coaching, governance enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of program management, portfolio management, Agile transformation, or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Lean Portfolio Management.
  • Experience managing enterprise portfolios, strategic initiatives, and investment governance processes
  • Strong background in project, program, and portfolio management methodologies
  • Exceptional executive stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
Desired Skills:
  • Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or a related discipline
  • SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager certification
  • Experience launching and managing enterprise value streams
  • Prior consulting experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive organizational change
