A nonprofit organization in California is actively seeking a new Employee Relations Associate to join their team at either their Los Angeles or San Diego location.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business (35 hours per week with a 1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Setting: Hybrid (at least 2 days a week onsite)
- Locations: San Diego, CA or Los Angeles, CA (NYC could be considered)
Responsibilities:
- Responding to employee concerns about working conditions and policy violations
- Drafting investigation-related documents with minimal supervision
- Managing requests for reasonable accommodations
- Providing consultation regarding policies and corrective actions
- Reviewing corrective actions and assisting managers with separations
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience
- Bacgekir;s Degree
- Experience with Employee Investigations
- Knowledge of Employment Laws
- Proficient in Monday.com
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Employee Relations or similar roles
- Advanced Degree
- Certifications in HR Management
- Experience in Internal Investigations
