A services organization in Hazleton, PA is seeking an Emergency Medicine Technician to join their Workplace Health & Safety department, focusing on ensuring employee well-being.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Back-half Nights
- Schedule: Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Setting: Workplace health & safety
Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid support and make referrals to outside medical providers as necessary
- Minimize the employee’s risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement
- Maintain all records of care provided to employees
- Coordinate and maintain the workers’ compensation and return to work programs
- Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 6 months of relevant experience or training
- High School Diploma / GED
- EMT or Paramedic Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in first aid and CPR
- Experience in health and safety management
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Desired Qualifications:
- 6 months of experience with OSHA regulations
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED training
- Experience in Industrial Wellness programs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
