A health services organization in Goodyear, Arizona, is actively seeking an Emergency Medicine Technician to join their growing Night shift team.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Night shift
- Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday nights, with training Monday to Friday days
- Hours: 7pm to 5:30am
- Setting: Workplace Health & Safety environment
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and making referrals to outside medical providers as necessary
- Minimizing employee risk of injury through awareness and education
- Maintaining all records of care provided to employees
- Coordinating and maintaining workers’ compensation and return to work programs for employees with work-related injuries
- Providing daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must have relevant certification, military experience, or an active Athletic Trainer Certification
- Proficient in First Aid and Emergency Response protocols
- Experience with maintaining digital records
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- Experience teaching first aid, CPR, and AED
- Experience in an Industrial Wellness program
- Solid understanding of OSHA regulations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
