A health services network in South Dakota is actively seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to provide first aid and emergency medical support at an on-site facility.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 4 or 5 days per week
- Hours: 8 or 10-hour shifts
- Setting: Occupational Health
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and referrals
- Maintaining employee health records
- Managing workers’ compensation programs
- Keeping inventory of medical supplies
- Engaging with leadership on safety coaching
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role
- High School Diploma / GED
- Valid EMT or Paramedic Certification
- BLS certification by an ECC provider
- Experience with OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Organizational skills
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Health & Safety
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, AED
- Teaching certifications
- Experience with Industrial Wellness programs
- Proficient in Digital Recordkeeping
