A services organization is seeking an Emergency Medicine Technician for their site in Oak Creek, WI, to join the Workplace Health & Safety team and support employee well-being and safety.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Multiple shifts available
- Hours: Tuesday to Saturday (7am to 3:30pm) or Friday to Monday (3pm to 1:30am)
- Setting: Workplace Health & Safety
Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid support and make referrals to outside medical providers as necessary
- Minimize employee risk of injury through awareness and education
- Maintain all records of care provided to employees
- Coordinate workers’ compensation and return to work programs
- Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- EMT or Paramedic Certification or relevant military experience or Athletic Trainer Certification
- First Aid skills
Desired Skills:
- Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED
- Industrial Wellness program experience
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Proficient in Digital Record keeping
