A Pennsylvania-based health services organization is seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join their growing team in Schuylkill County.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Night
- Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday
- Hours: 6pm to 4:30am
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and making referrals to medical providers
- Minimizing employee injury risk through education and engagement
- Maintaining records of care provided
- Coordinating workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs
- Providing daily activity logs and shift reports
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- EMT or Paramedic Certification, or six months military medic experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
Desired Skills:
- Teaching certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED
- Experience with Industrial Wellness programs
- Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers Compensation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
