An Arizona-based company is looking for a dedicated Emergency Medicine Technician to join its Workplace Health & Safety team in Phoenix. This role requires a proactive and dynamic professional to support employee health and safety initiatives.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: On-site
- Shift: Wednesday-Saturday, 6:15 PM – 4:45 AM
- Schedule: Training Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM
- Hours: Full-time
- Setting: Workplace health and safety environment
Responsibilities:
The Emergency Medicine Technician will be responsible for:
- Providing first aid support and referrals as needed
- Minimizing injury risks through education and proactive engagement
- Maintaining care records and coordinating workers’ compensation programs
- Providing daily activity logs and shift reports
- Engaging with employees for safety coaching
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a related role
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- EMT or Paramedic Certification/NREMT certification
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
- Record-keeping skills
- Proactive and engaging communication
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
Desired Skills:
- Experience in an industrial wellness program
- Teaching certification for first aid, CPR, and AED
- Experience with musculoskeletal disorder management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Digital record-keeping proficiency
