A services organization in Thornton, Colorado, is actively seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join their Workplace Health & Safety team. In this role, the Emergency Medicine Technician will be responsible for providing medical assistance and engaging in various safety operations.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week
- Hours: 6pm to 4:30am
- Setting: Occupational Health
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid and making medical referrals, as necessary
- Reducing injury risk through education and proactive measures
- Maintaining records of care and coordinating workers' compensation programs
- Engaging with employees and leadership to promote safe work habits
- Participating in training and maintaining first aid, CPR, and AED credentials
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- EMT / Paramedic certification, Military Medic experience, and/or Athletic Trainer certification
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED training
- Experience with Industrial Wellness programs
- Experience managing Musculoskeletal Disorders and Ergonomics
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation processes
- Proficiency in Digital Record Keeping
